Schedule
Registration will begin at 8:30 AM at the baseball field and camp will begin at 9:00 AM. Pitcher-Only’s will have a later check-in time that is TBD and will be sent out the week of the camp. Campers will go through a pro-style workout, receive a tour of some of GVSU’s athletic facilities, and will play games in the afternoon. Metrics will be sent out a few weeks after the conclusion of the camp. Camp will conclude around 4:00 PM.

What to Bring
Tennis/Turf Shoes or Molded Cleats (No Metal Cleats!), baseball glove, hat, pants, bat, batting helmets, lunch, personal water bottle, and catching gear, or any other desired piece of equipment. Camp shirts will be provided.

Camp Site
Camp will be held at the GVSU’s newly renovated Baseball Field on GVSU's Allendale Campus. Additionally, the $18 million Kelly Family Sports Center will be used if inclement weather comes into play.

The GVSU Baseball Program
The GVSU baseball program has established itself as one of the premiere programs in NCAA Division II. The Lakers concluded the 2025 season with a 43-14 overall record and were ranked inside the Top 25 National rankings for majority of the year. Additionally, GVSU hosted the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament and were semifinalists. In 2024, the Lakers took home the GLIAC Conference Tournament Championship and made a NCAA Division II regional appearance. The Laker’s were the 2016 Co-Conference Champions and the 2013 team finished 3rd at the Division II World Series in addition to winning the GLIAC championship. The 2012 Lakers won the GLIAC regular season and tournament and were NCAA Regional semifinalists. In 2011, Grand Valley was the GLIAC champion and advanced to the Division II World Series. With a 52-5 record the Lakers spent most of the season ranked #1 in NCAA DII. In 2009, the Lakers were ranked #1 for several weeks, and in 2007 and 2008, GVSU was ranked as high as #3 in the country. Since 2003, GVSU has won ten GLIAC conference championships. The Lakers have been in ten regional championship games, winning six of them advancing to the NCAA Division II World Series with national finishes of third in 2013, seventh in 2011 & 2009, fourth in 2005, second in 2004, and fifth in 2003.
